  Dataset content change Please note that the data published under the Structural housing indicators (SHI) dataset has been migrated to the Real Estate Statistics – Structural Housing Indicators (RESH) dataset, which is part of the newly created Real Estate Statistics key family (RES).

  Data presentation - Summary description Structural housing indicators provide (annual) information on underlying structural aspects of the housing markets, for example on the Number of properties, Vacancy/occupancy rates, Housing starts and completions, Housing transactions and the Type of tenure (owner-occupied and rented). National data are provided by National Central Banks, compliant with agreed target definitions but are not always fully comparable across countries. European aggregates are compiled by the ECB if the country coverage rate is 60% or higher.
